VWR International
VWR International acquired Jencons-PLS in April 2008. The company's expertise had originally been in glassblowing and the supply of basic laboratory ware. However, the company have rapidly expanded and as a result of this have gained a worldwide reputation as a producer of liquid handling products.
As a result of the acquisition of Prior Laboratory Supplies in 1997 the approach to the UK market changed and Jencons-PLS became a specialist in the supply of laboratory equipment, this equipment is used by:
- Universities
- Medical Schools
- Pharmaceutical Companies
The Jencons-PLS UK sales team now operate as the Capital Equipment Specialist team within VWR UK.
