Griffin & Sinclair

Griffin & Sinclair is a small, family business which has been making high quality, bespoke furniture for over 40 years from its Nottingham workshop.

Lee Sinclair started the business in 1974 alongside his wife Jill. In 2013 their daughter Rosalind and her husband Daniel Griffin joined the business.

With a background in graphic design, Daniel has taken on the roles of designer, delivery man, sales and furniture maker. Rosalind has a degree in Fine Art, and having grown up with furniture makers, is well placed to be a designer and furniture maker too.

Lee and Jill have now both retired but are still very much on hand to offer advice and childminding, so that Rosalind and Daniel can head out on delivery runs, craft shows and spend time in the workshop.

The small team is complimented by highly skilled craftsman Nick Gilbey who has been an integral part of the business for over 30 years.
