Amongst individual designs, Lady Dyson produces a themed collection each year.

She receives commissions from around the world from individuals, designers and architects. With her small team, her unique concepts, detailed drawings and paintings are accurately art worked to enable the creation of a perfect hand-crafted product.

It is a fascinating blend of art and process, of ancient skill and new technology.

Quality – colour matching over 5,000 different hues of pure Tibetan wool, the integrity of the silk, the skill of the maker – is everything.

Twenty years on, in her beautifully designed London gallery, she continues to work with the same craftsmen and craftswomen, still refining and improving their collective process.

Deirdre Dyson and her carpets are celebrated within the interior design and architectural worlds and her book, Walking on Art, is published by Thames and Hudson.
