Tina Mammoser
Paintings of sea, lake and water surface.
From paintings of Venice – transforming the city into representation of the very element that defines her – to painting the English Coast as abstractions of weather and season, her paintings are all about spaces of line, colour and light rather than direct landscape. A scientific fascination with light and shadow, reflection and refraction, pattern and water movement drives her experiments with paint to capture these changing qualities within luminous seascapes.
Tina's work has been shown at galleries across the country and is collected internationally. Exhibitions have included the Pastel Society, Royal Society of Marine Artists, the National Maritime Museum, Dulwich Picture Gallery and the Gallery on Cork Street. Tina has participated in artist residencies in Newfoundland and a project at the National Maritime Museum using the historic Camera Obscura.
