Ben Atkinson Bespoke Furniture

Ben is a bespoke furniture maker who has lived and worked in the North of England all his life.

He tries to use as much sustainable local timber as possible. This comes from Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Although happy to use tropical hardwoods if that’s what his clients want, but does manage to talk most people out of it!

Regularly uses Oak, Walnut, Elm, Maple, Cherry, Beech, Ash, Sycamore, Birch and Chestnut.
