Jon Mills

Jon Mills fabricates site-specific decorative ironwork and public sculpture.

Each piece can be inspired by a variety of influences, from local history to the environment and adjacent architectural details. These influences bring wit and a human element to the different projects.

Work undertaken and media used

All work is fabricated in Jon’s workshop, and supplied shot-blasted, hot-zinc sprayed and powder-coated to agreed RAL colours prior to delivery to site.

An installation service is available, if required.

Projects

Commissions include gate and railing projects for schools and community groups, with children’s design input and participation; school trips to the workshop can be arranged to see work in progress.
