Sawmilling facilities enable Dovetail to produce all the timber required for projects, and being members of ASHS (Association of Scottish HArdwood Saw-millers), the company is able to market excess timber and cutting & drying facilities to local landowners and makers.

The company designs and builds furniture, kitchens and heavy timber frames from local Scottish hardwoods, with each piece carrying a dove logo. A high degree of skilled craftsmanship is used, and each piece carries the unique features of the piece of wood it is made from, such as variations in grain, colour and natural markings.
