Matt Robinson is a BREEAM qualified Codes for Sustainable Homes Assessor and has spent all his working life trying to improve the environmental performance of his buildings.
Once a design has been agreed with the clients a complete drawings & model making service is offered, which will take a project through the planning application process, subsequent building control hurdle and in some cases to detailed working drawings stage for bespoke components.
Unlike most architects working in Britain today, Matt Robinson is a craftsman taught building designer and the principle end product is the building rather than the building contract.
He maintains the running of a workshop, which currently focuses on making garden carpentry and timber bridges, although the workshop will make signature components for interesting buildings in other materials such as reinforced concrete or unbaked earth.
