Colour Flooring Company

Having a similar problem when trying to source simple contemporary block-colour flooring, Bill and Lena, two former design journalists decided to set up The Colour Flooring Company.

They had scoured the high street and the internet but all they could find was a huge range of vinyl flooring in fleck designs, imitation stone, fake woods and many other terrifying ‘styles’ in between. And the alternatives: rubber flooring, Marmoleum and lino they found were prohibitively expensive to buy and fit.

They wondered why there is so much vinyl flooring around, but why so much of it is dated, ugly and over-fussy. Why it’s so hard to find a range of simple contemporary colours – red flooring, blue flooring or pure white vinyl flooring, for example. They decided to source the vinyl flooring they wanted and were so pleased with it they decided to set up The Colour Flooring Company. The flooring is easy and inexpensive to lay.

They like to call themselves a ‘boutique’ company. By that they just mean they are small and friendly. They have one simple but beautiful product and are always available should any help be needed.
