EPOC Beds specialise in making hand crafted mattresses and divan beds to the very highest calibre and in the traditional manner. Over sixty years of experience is bought to bear in each and every bespoke product. Each item is made to order and we take great pride in our workmanship.

They also work hard in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and have earned a great reputation and respect within the industry. Customers include private customers, hotels and top interior design houses who cater for the rich and famous.

EPOC beds treat every item individually as a hand made bespoke piece, and they use only the finest materials and products. They use great attention to detail and can cater for special sizes. Customers are very loyal and they have come to expect a consistent, high quality service from placing an order through manufacture to delivery.

EPOC Bedding was established in the East End of London by Joseph James Cope in 1949. The business was founded with one main priority, to build the finest hand made beds possible.

The business began to grow, along with the reputation for the quality of the products. Divan beds were introduced to the product line, creating more positions within the company. Joseph's son Geoff was introduced to the business in 1962 and was taught the craft of making hand made mattresses and divan beds by his father, using traditional materials and methods.

In 1980 the company moved to Southend in Essex and, in 2007, again to Ipswich in Suffolk but the original ethos and methods still remain to this day.
