For over 35 years, S+B has designed, manufactured and installed furniture, fume cupboards and other equipment for university, healthcare, R&D, food and beverage, utilities, and industrial laboratories.

The company also provides schools furniture for science, design technology, food technology, IT and general cross-curricular classrooms. Clients include schools, builders, architects and consultants. Contracts have included PFI projects for Liverpool, Wirral and Bridlington Councils, and BSF programmes in Islington, Birmingham, Derbyshire and Salford.

Products include application-specific worktops, fixed pedestal, cantilever, C frame and H frame modular benching systems. A full range of high safety/low energy fume cupboards, fully tested to BS 14175, is also supplied. All furniture and fume cupboards are manufactured to meet exacting quality standards.

A turnkey offering ensures minimal downtime. Services include free consultation and design, strip-out and disposal of old furniture and fittings, project management for compliance with health and safety standards, and mechanical, electrical, gas and plumbing installation.
