Bridge of Weir Leather Company

Bridge of Weir Leather Company is part of the Scottish Leather Group, which is the UKs largest group, comprising four leather manufacturing companies that export to over 30 countries.

Bridge of Weir specialises in producing high-performance upholstery leather for use in hotels, embassy buildings, concert halls, commercial premises and private homes, as well as aeroplane, car and ship interiors.

Leathers are available from stock in various types. Colour-coated leather is available in three ranges: Caledonian, Grampian and organically tanned Skye. Nubuck is a natural dyed leather that is lightly buffed on the grain side to produce a fine suede nap.

Finishes include: semi-aniline, single-tone pigmented, two-tone pigmented, hand antiqued, patinated, tipped, pearlised or corrected grain, made to order.

Prior to dispatch, each batch of leather is tested to internationally recognised testing methods, which have been approved by individual firms, trade associations or organisations within the furniture industries.
