Quadrant Carpets, working with Morgan Lovell, the creative office environment consultancy, has recently completed carpeting the EMEA Headquarters of AeroTurbine, one of the world’s largest suppliers of certified aircraft engines, parts and supply chain solutions.

The Farnborough office provides for the expanded operations of the company, allowing it to accommodate growing staff numbers to maintain service levels to customers across the EMEA region. The move also allowed AeroTurbine to create more appropriate surroundings, which reflect its corporate personality. After consultation with Morgan Lovell, the concept was developed around large visual images, clean lines and industry specific props.

Nathan Watson, Project Designer, Morgan Lovell commented:
“This projected offered significant design opportunities, and we developed the theme around the company‘s philosophy, so it is all about aeroplanes, engineering, and keeping customers moving.”

The aircraft association has immediate impact with a large engine turbine fan in the reception area as you enter the office. The corporate red is used with vigorous effect in the visitor areas around the office highlighting chairs and lounge areas. The carpet design has been used to segment the space along linear and curved lines intersecting desk and meeting spaces, successfully merging the two environments.

Quadrant Carpets proposed that the 500m2 space use the Balance family of carpet in the contrasting Hydra and Indus colour ways. Balance is a sophisticated textured loop pile with a 10-year guarantee, suitable for heavy commercial use.
