The Yasahiro Japanese-style deep soaking tub features a modern, fifth-generation design, and builds on the experience gathered by the company since 1991, when it introduced the word's first contemporary deep soaking bath - the Imersa.

The Yasahiro displays features and innovations that have made other Cabuchon soaking tubs popular, but it incorporates a number of important changes that further enhance bathing pleasure.

Comfort and function

The carefully sculpted back, integrated seat and armrests, and soft headrest, enable the bather to adopt a comfortable seated position, submerged to the upper chest and buoyed up by the water, providing a sense of weightlessness.

Space saving, compact design

The modest 1440 x 850mm footprint takes up substantially less space than a conventional bath and is ideally suited for use in modern townhouses, boutique hotels and any property where space is at a premium.

It can be installed inset or undermounted, in a corner or against a wall. When fitted with a side panel (available from Cabuchon as a bespoke extra) it can also be installed free-standing.

The Yasahiro is a little longer than other deep soaking tubs in the Cabuchon range so allows more leg room. The larger footwell makes it compatible with an overhead or wall-mounted shower.

Its somewhat lower seat means that its designers have been able to lower its overall height, making it easy to access and rendering a step unnecessary.

Hydrotherapy option

The combination of a relaxed seated posture and the bath's steeply angled side walls make the Yasahiro an ideal bath for an optional hydrotherapy system. The side walls minimise the distance between the water jets and the bather's leg muscles, which aids heat transference and the effectiveness of the hydro-massage. Likewise, the supportive effect of the water helps minimise the weight placed on the neck and shoulder muscles so the user can remain relaxed at all times.

25-year guarantee

Like all Cabuchon baths, the Yasahiro is made from the company's own proprietary composite, Ficore®, which carries a 25-year guarantee.

  • Resistant to knocks and abrasion
  • Resistant to staining and damage by heat or aggressive chemicals
  • Exceptionally strong
  • Enables a fineness of detail in designs
  • Can be easily repaired in the unlikely event of damage

Unlimited colour choice

All Cabuchon baths are handmade to order and the use of Ficore® enables the company to offer the Yasahiro in literally any colour.

Other sanitary-ware manufacturers' standard colours can be matched for no extra charge.

On request, Cabuchon can produce the bath in any special colour - eg to match the base colour of a fabric, stone, wood or ceramic tile.

It can also be produced in more than one colour - such as with stripes, differently coloured side panels or a contrasting interior / exterior.
