Bespoke zinc bar counter

For The Ashmolean Dining Room in Oxford, designed by Path Design, Benchmark made a stunning bar with a ship-lapped dull polished zinc front and solid fumed oak top. Fumed oak is made by exposing the timber to ammonia which reacts with the tanins in the wood to darken them and bring out the grain.
