Sullington Manor Farm
The historic buildings and the surrounding landscape at Sullington Manor farm are a tangible link to the manorial system, once used to run the country.
They have recently been restored and a visitor centre has been created at the site to display information about the changes in agriculture that have taken place over the last 800 years.
The barn restoration at Sullington Manor Farm encompassed a number of improvements, including a new visitor cafe and toilets, and any interpretive scheme had to sit comfortably within a small but busy public space.
FWDP designed and manufactured a variety of interpretation units for the visitor exhibition areas.
These included traditional interpretation panels, a children’s interactive table, audio wall and artefacts display, and all on a tight budget.
A fun and informative visitor experience was created to appeal to all ages for the many visitors who use the site as a gateway to their visit to the South Downs National Park.
