Challenge

Following a stay at the Vincent Hotel in Southport, a private client contacted Cabuchon as he wanted to have the same bath his family had enjoyed at the hotel - a compact Japanese-style Calyx 1230 deep soaking tub - installed in his home.

The client bought a former Sunday school in Lytham to convert into a new home. It featured a good-sized bathroom which, if fitted with a compact Calyx 1230 deep soaking tub, would also afford room for a separate walk-in shower enclosure.

Solution

The client contacted the Cabuchon team and set out his requirements, together with some questions about installation. These were quickly addressed and the bath was subsequently ordered, manufactured and delivered to the new home. The bath was supplied in Cabuchon’s “Superwhite” colour, which made for a striking contrast with the stylish black brassware.

The bath was set into a raised, tiled deck featuring fully integrated wooden steps.
