Armitage Shanks launches the Avon 21 Press Shower Panel – a simple, stylish, water-saving solution for recreational showering
Armitage Shanks has launched the new Avon 21 self-closing shower panel, a pre-plumbed push button shower. Designed as a ready-to-install solution for high-traffic recreational washrooms, the Avon 21 is ideal for use across sport, leisure and education facilities, offering contemporary design, robust functionality, and efficient water usage.
Engineered for both retrofit and new build projects, whether communal areas or cubicle installations, the Avon 21 features a durable aluminum body that conceals all fixings for a clean and durable product, with testing completed to over 500,000 cycles.
Ease of use is central to Avon 21. A single push-button activates a preset 30-second flow of water, removing any need for adjustment and ensuring minimal water waste. Designed to operate with a single cold or premixed water supply, the unit can work with a number of thermostatic mixing valves to ensure safe and comfortable water temperature control in commercial settings. Flow control is managed via a factory-fitted 6 litres-per-minute (lpm) flow regulator in the shower head, with an alternative 8 lpm regulator also supplied.
Avon 21 has been created with installers, facilities managers, specifiers, and contractors in mind. The panel arrives pre-plumbed for fast, top-inlet installation and includes a maintenance tool for straightforward servicing. Where a rear or back water supply is required, a recommended 90-degree elbow is available separately to allow for the full concealment of the pipework within the shower unit paneling.
Anil Madan, Non-Residential Marketing Manager at Ideal Standard UK and Armitage Shanks said: “With the Avon 21, we’ve focused on creating a smart, sustainable, and easy-to-use solution for today’s washrooms. It’s built to last in busy environments, and with a five-year guarantee, we’re confident in the products performance, safety, and design.”
