Skyla is the first budget-friendly bathroom collection from Villeroy & Boch to incorporate the brand's comprehensive expertise in the fields of design and interior furnishings.

The on-trend design featuring round and angular forms is intended to harmonise equally well with new and existing bathroom collections alike. Whether it is used to replace an old washbasin or for an entire new fit-out, Skyla always blends perfectly into the overall look of the bathroom. Striking and discreet in one, this design idiom contributes to the collection's extreme adaptability, accommodating the most diverse interior looks.

A further major forte of the new collection is its versatility: bathroom furniture in diverse variants and eight colours, wall-mounted toilets in two shapes and tap fittings in two finishes open up broad scope for individual design. This means that Skyla is the right collection for any bathroom, style and budget.

Discreet and flexible washbasin

Skyla stands for simplicity and flexibility. This is epitomised by the clear, minimalist design of the washbasin. The seamless transition from the washbasin to the vanity unit ensures that the ensemble always forms an aesthetically perfect entity. The combination of the angular outer form and the gently rounded basin will harmonise with any design idiom and any design concept, contributing to the collection's great flexibility.

The collection's wall-mounted washbasins can be installed with or without a vanity unit. Widths ranging from 55 to 120cm cover every room scenario and form of use, from small to family bathrooms. All the washbasins are available in the ceramic colours Stone White (matt) and White Alpine (glossy) with CeramicPlus finish and optionally with a modern wide overflow.

Practical and versatile furniture range

In addition to vanity units for the washbasin, the collection also offers a side cabinet and a tall cabinet as additional design options and for added storage space. All furniture items are available in the top-selling colours Brilliant White, Graphite, Volcano Black, Soft Green, Nordic Oak, Kansas Oak, Arizona Oak and Stone Oak. Vanity units are optionally available with one or two drawers. Drawers and an open compartment can also be combined for 80 and 100cm washbasins. SoftClosing provides for particularly quiet and gentle closing of the drawers.

As signature design features, Skyla comes with flush-closing fronts and modern, discreetly recessed finger pulls for all doors and drawers.

Stylish and functional tap fittings

Skyla tap fittings are a perfect match for Skyla washbasins, taking up their soft, round design idiom. The collection comprises tap fittings for the washbasin, bidet, shower and bath. Skyla's versatility is also reflected in the broad range of tap fittings: these come in two different heights for the washbasin and various models are available for showers and baths. The Chrome and Matt Black finishes offer a timeless classic variant and a stylish modern option, for a broad range of different looks in the bathroom.

For optimum comfort and water-saving potential, all washbasin tap fittings come with the AirPlus, AquaSmart and SmartPressure features as standard. A washbasin tap fitting with ColdStart feature is additionally available.

Innovative and convenient toilet

A special hallmark of the toilets in the Skyla collection is their advanced swirl flush technology TwistFlush[e3]. The powerful flow of swirling water provides for thorough flushing leaving toilets virtually spotless. With 3 / 4.5 l of water per flush, Skyla toilets are more water-efficient than toilets which use 3 / 6 l flushes. In addition, the rimless design on the inside of the bowl makes cleaning easier and results in maximum hygiene for a minimum of time and effort.

The collection offers wall-mounted toilets in the three colours Stone White (matt), White Alpine (glossy) and Pure Black (matt) and a choice of rectangular or round design. Skyla's modern toilet seat design is softer and smoother than conventional toilet seats. All seats come with the QuickRelease and SoftClosing features as standard.

A further advantage when installing a Skyla toilet is the ViFix method for swift and simple fitting. With ViFix, a wall-mounted toilet can be installed by one person, with no visible screws or covers.
