Cabuchon's original ofuro-style deep soaking tub, the Imersa is hand built and is available in a choice of lengths: 1220 or 1370mm.

Both versions are suitable for use with an overhead shower and may be fitted with a bath/shower screen. They both feature a comfortably raised seat area, and the grab bars can be provided in a chrome, antique gold, brushed nickel or clear acrylic finish.

Deep soaking benefits

Inspired by Japanese soaking tubs, the Imersa boasts traditional styling and allows deeply submerged bathing. Importantly, it is also compatible with Cabuchon hydrotherapy systems, which represent the last word in bathing comfort and luxury.

Installation options

The baths can be installed inset, sunk into a deck or set into a corner or alcove. For anything other than a sunken installation, access is improved using a step. The Imersa may also be used free standing, in which case, bespoke panels can be designed and supplied on request.

The Imersa can be supplied in literally any colour, or a combination of colours, and both versions will pass through a standard 730mm/29" door when turned on their side.

Only the waste and overflow holes are pre-drilled, allowing the customer and installer to decide on site about the placement of taps, spouts and hand showers. The overflow can also be sited in any one of the three walls of the well.

Heat-rentention

The Imersa is made using Ficore®, a composite material developed by Cabuchon Bathforms. Strong and rigid, Ficore is resistant to acids, alkalis and cigarette burns, and it retains heat considerably longer than conventional bath materials.

Made by hand at Cabuchon's workshop in Lancashire, every Imersa is built to order, so the customer can request special modifications such as the use of special colours, the incorporation of a hydrotherapy / chromotherapy system, or adjusting the size of the bath rims.
