Grid-It switches and sockets are grid-fixed to provide flexibility. It is particularly useful in operation areas such as kitchens and ancillary areas where project-specific combinations may be required, rather than standard items.
Separate modules can be clipped together on the grid to create the desired combination. This can be done on-site for an instant solution. Larger sized plates are available, which will accommodate up to 12 switches or similar inserts
The grid doubles as a gasket to hold the plate clear of the wall should the surface be uneven. When redecorating, the plate may be removed to keep it clean, but the grid-gasket and switches remain in place, preserving safety and functionality. The metal part of the grid is zinc-plated to prevent corrosion.
Neon halos around the switches help visual identification; they are available in four colours and are built into fuses. Rocker switches can incorporate printed words or symbols to aid appliance or function identification.
Grid-It is available on the Sheer and Hartland plate ranges. It is also available on Linea CFX plates, but only up to four switches or similar per plate.
