The oval-shaped, double-ended Palladian features a beautifully sculptured rim detail that cannot be reproduced using standard bath materials. This unusual feature lends itself particularly well to a two-colour finish such as coach striping.
In view of the fact that the Palladian's most distinguishing feature is its detailed double rim, it is invariably installed with the rim visible above the deck. This makes the most of its simple, smooth lines.
Comfortable shared bathing
Designed to allow comfortable shared bathing, the Palladian has gently reclining ends that contribute to a relaxing bathing experience. Again, with two bathers in mind, it was designed with its waste positioned centrally but close to the inner bowl wall, leaving the base of the bowl smooth and comfortable.
For the same reason, it is generally a good idea to place the taps and other fittings one one of the straight side rims or, alternatively, on an adjacent wall or the surrounding deck. The Palladian, like all Cabuchon baths, is supplied with pre-drilled holes for the waste and overflow only. Holes are not required when used with free-standing risers or wall-mounted mixers, and where taps and other fittings are to be installed, their placement is best decided when the bath can be seen in situ.
Hydrotherapy
The Palladian works well as a hydrotherapy bath. If a hydrotherapy system is chosen, Cabuchon will fit this in its factory, together with all the relevant controls, in order to ensure effective quality control.
Materials & guarantees
The Palladian is made using Ficore®, a composite material developed by Cabuchon Bathforms. Ficore is strong, rigid, resistant to acids, alkalis and cigarette burns, and retains heat considerably longer than other bath materials. It can also be supplied in literally any colour, or in a combination of colours so, for example, the Palladian's inner bowl can be made in a different colour to its rims.
Handmade in Lancashire, England, every Palladian is built to order. It comes with a 25 year guarantee.
