The rectangular, double-ended Serenity is available in four different sizes, ranging in length from 1700mm to 2000mm. The width of the rear rim, the head slope and the depth all increase in the largest model, the Serenity 2000.

Comfortable shared bathing

All models are extremely comfortable, due largely to the greater than usual angle of the slope at either end and the incorporation of a head rest. The result is a very relaxing bathing experience.

Installation options

Available in any colour, the Serenity is most commonly built into a surround. It can be installed inset, with its rims visible above the deck or it can be undermounted, with its rims concealed beneath the deck.

Bath panels

Standard panels are not supplied because of the wide variations in requirements, but panels can be designed and produced on a bespoke basis. This is useful if, for example, a client wishes to set the Serenity in an alcove, in a corner or along a wall. In such situations, Cabuchon can supply a custom made panel to cover one, two or three sides respectively. With four sides covered, the Serenity can be installed free standing.

Like the bath itself, all panels are built using Cabuchon's own Ficore® composite. They can be made as an integral part of the Serenity or they can be supplied as a separate unit, for subsequent installation on-site. A panel may be produced to cover anything from one to four sides of the bath but in all cases it will be supplied as a single, continuous piece. This ensures maximum stability and speeds the process of installation. If a panel is produced separately, it can be supplied in a contrasting colour to that of the bath.

Strength and durability

Ficore® is a composite material developed exclusively by Cabuchon Bathforms. It is tough and durable yet it is capable of exceptionally fine detailing and it has a tactile quality that feels warm to the touch. It is resistant to acids, alkalis and cigarette burns, and retains heat considerably longer than traditional bath materials.

Hydrotherapy

The material's strength, rigidity and heat retentive characteristics make it ideally suited to the use of hydrotherapy systems and, as a result, the Serenity makes an excellent hydrotherapy bath.

Colour choice

As a further consequence of using Ficore, Cabuchon can match the standard colour ranges of all well known sanitaryware manufacturers and, as an added option, if the client can supply a sample, it can match the base colour of stone, wood, textiles or tiles.

Supply options

Since the Serenity is designed to facilitate shared bathing, its waste is positioned centrally on one side, leaving the base of the bowl clear. Supplied with only waste and overflow holes drilled, the Serenity allows for on-site placement of taps, spouts and hand showers. Alternatively, its rims can be left plain for use with free-standing or wall-mounted mixers.

Handmade by the company's experienced team of highly skilled craftsmen, the Serenity is designed and built exclusively in Britain.
