Challenge

The Alan Gilbert Learning Commons at The University of Manchester Library is a landmark building designed to become a focal point for learning, offering a stimulating and comfortable 24/7 environment for study.

The space has been designed by ID:SR, the Manchester based interior design group of Sheppard Robson, to offer a real variety of flexible individual and group study facilities in an ultra-modern space.

Solution

Retro style seating has been supplied by Allermuir, Bene and Naughtone.

Octo by Allermuir has been upholstered in Craggan Marsh (ZAN04) and Blazer I Bryanston (CUZ53).

The Bene Parcs Causeways range features Blazer I Bryanston (CUZ53) and Dunhurst (CUZ58), Sting Granite (OWW04), Craggan Marsh (ZAN04) and Bracken (CUZ28).

Pinch Stools by Nought One are upholstered in Blazer II Silverdale (CUZ28).
