Composition

Torc products are made from eco-crete, a cement mixture with up to 15% silica to improve product strength, increase sulphate resistance, decrease permeability and reduce the water requirement. The lightweight fibre reinforced concrete mix includes aggregates sourced from local quarries, with sand and reconstituted stone from Jersey.

Torc pots are thrown by hand in layers, which reduces material waste to zero - precise batching avoids waste. The compressive and flexural strength of the mix makes Torc products very durable - they should last a lifetime.

Packaging

Packaging is recycled bio-plastic made from bamboo.
