Overview
One Glass Wharf is a 19,500m² Grade A office building in Bristol, distinguished by its terracotta, zinc, and glass façade and a central atrium featuring a helical stair. Developed as a headquarters for law firm Burges Salmon, the building forms the centrepiece of a major urban regeneration scheme, transforming a previously derelict waterfront site.
C-S Group's Involvement
During the original construction phase, C-S Group supplied Pediluxe Entrance Matting systems, fitted within purpose-built matwells to manage debris ingress and reduce interior wear in a high-traffic corporate environment.
Eleven years later, when the building underwent a wider entrance and office refurbishment, C-S Group was engaged again to replace the original matting - supplying updated systems that fit within the original matwell recesses, while meeting the building's refreshed interior aesthetic and continuing to perform in a demanding commercial setting.
Outcome
The entrance matting installations performed effectively across both phases of the project, supporting the building's operational requirements at handover and again following the 2022–23 refurbishment. C-S Group's reappointment during the upgrade reflected continuity of product specification across the building's lifecycle
